Jerry's 27 mile record Distance run as told by Ed Slobod in the
January 1975 edition of "Model Builder" magazine, the best Model
magazine ever in my view. Ed is the designer of several RC
Sailplanes, the Pierce Ducky in this article looks like the Pierce
970. I'll confirm this when possible, the 970 is my favorite Slobod
design.
