HELPFUL AND ENTERTAINING LINKS

The Traverse City, MI club sent the winners home with a framed Polaroid photo of them and their sailplanes. It is a great idea, great way for the winner to remember the occasion. I asked the camera man to include my flying buddies and their trophy plagues for my trophy photo. L-R, Eric and Brandon Podzielinsky, Gordon Pearson and me.

Eric, Gordon and I have been flying together since the very early seventies, from Canada to California. We gathered at Gordon's cabin in the Michigan woods prior to this contest and then had a memorable time at the club's wonderful flying site.
