Beach parking

So you like to slope soar ... this is God's Country.

Ultimate slope beach

Check out the larger version of the image. The white spot on the sand looks like a beach blanket but isn't. Also, check out the very top left hand corner.

Frank Wren's old Windfree. I enjoy flying it during our "Out West Vacation Trips". My wife took this pic Aug. 2011, Custer State Park, S.D.

Pacific Ace

This is Bill Brewer's magnificent 30" Pacific Ace. This is one of my favorite rubber jobs that has given me many hours of great free flight flying. Construction Plans for this model and other free flight planes are available from Bill. Send $2.00 to Bill Brewer Plans for a list of available plans, 2370 Old Oxford Road, Hamilton, OH 45013.

Covered Bridge River

I prefer practice flying on the AMA site in Muncie with the MISS club and also the GLASS CLUB in Lansing, MI. Both clubs have real sociable members to share the air with. Both sites are more than large enough to fly my free flight planes. I can spend a nice long day flying my favorite free flights, r/c electric's and gas powered planes and r/c sailplanes. When time permits, I like to take the route to Muncie that takes me through this covered bridge.

Photos taken from one my favorite Indiana covered bridges between Muncie and Fort Wayne, IN. Look what happens when you turn your back for just a minute. First pic has the empty mid river rock, evidently a favorite landing spot. This Green Heron was a lucky surprise pic when I turned back to face the river again. He landed without a sound.
